GOLDILOCKS IN THE GARDEN

Lysimachia, commonly known as Goldilocks (in the container with the plates and the flag; close-up in the top photo). It's growing fast! It started out this summer in one of those little 4" containers! I've never had any before and am pleasantly surprised---it's doing really well both here at my back door and also at my front entry; I read that it's a heat loving plant and I guess being in this Texas heat works for it!

Is the Goldilocks plant you have also called Popping Johnny or Creeping Johnny?

Thanks, Big Mama, for your comment. There is a species of Lysimachia called Creeping Jenny & after searching the internet, I found there were species of it called Loosestrife, Gooseneck, and Moneywort, but I couldn't find the ones you mentioned. Does anyone know about about Popping or Creeping Johnny?.....

You are right about the Goldilocks plant being called Creeping Jenny, not Johnny; I found my notes on it....female instead of male! Oh, well, close but no cigar for me!
