"Where Bloggers Create" Tour

My new blog friend, Brenda, from the Brenda Blog, http://thebrendablog.typepad.com/ , has created a tour for us of the spaces where bloggers create.

So, here's my ever so humble corner desk (in our bedroom) where I enter the wonderful world of blogging a.k.a. Blogland:

Did not realize there were so many cords showing back there!---oops!
Gotta have my Sonic Route 44 iced tea! (Can you say Caffeine Addict???) I love my little bright yellow Goofus Glass vase and my little boy with cart statue being used as a "stamp holder", which I've used in the past for a business card holder.
Note the timer (bottom right) which is supposed to keep me on track, timewise, so as to not lose track of time while blogging (yeah, right).

Thanks, Brenda, for putting together this tour!
I can't wait to see everyone else's spaces where you create!

What a great desk, and I love your post. I am an ice tea addict myself, especially since I am a night owl...best time to create. I loved your tour. Karen

I love your creative space. I see that you also have your favorite drink pictured at your desk as I do. I am an iced tea aholic and there is always a glass at my desk.

I love your desk, too. I have cords everywhere at my spot---it's a hazzard of the trade, I think! You are so smart to get a timer--I'm putting that on my shopping list! It is so nice getting to know you through blogging. Thank you for sharing. Dana

What a great corner desk. Lots of room to spread out & be creative. Sometimes our bedroom is the only space left for us. :)

Oh, Patti-- thanks for dropping by my blog. I'm thrilled to read yours. What a darling, comfortable place you have to blog! I love your idea of putting your blog name on your photos. And then I had to read on down about the chicken salad. It is a favorite in our house, too. It really is a pretty food, I think. :)

Aw, I wish I'd thought to put out fresh flowers, they are lovely! And I see Brenda's blog there on your screen, that's a cute touch and fitting tribute to our friend Brenda! I didn't see all the cords until I photographed the desk, either, so I just cropped them out! Haha, the wonders of Photoshop! Love your space, Patti!

Hi Patti :)

I love that you can close the doors on your space so no one can peek at it unless you want them to. I'll bet they are open a lot with this blogging addiction we've all got though LOL A timer is a great idea, but I ignor the one for cooking half the time, so I'm not so sure how well it would work ;)

Have you tried Snapple peach tea? Oh so good! I really like your desk. Wish I had a true desk that had spaces to put things. I don't even have a drawer at the moment. And what to do with those pesky electrical cords? I tie them up, tape them together, and do all manner of things to hide them. But as with gravity, they manage to fall down and look unsightly again! Thank you so much for participating! I spy me in the background there!

Well you are a brave soul to share - I am not sure I would be willing too. I am a tea addict too home-brewed with no sugar for me. ;0

What is a goofus vase could we see it closer up?

That's a great desk! I'm more of a Coke addict but you will either see a coke can or a bottle or propel water. LOL about your timer. I have two of those. They are called my kids. ;) Thanks for sharing and stopping by!

I love your timer!! I wouldn't want anyone to be a fly on the wall and know how much time I spend blogging sometimes. I just like it so much!!
